I am having a booklice situation the house I rent. The pest control company my landlord sent has not treated inside the house but advised us to keep the humidity down and says this will solve the problem. So far it has not solved the problem, and we have had to try to spray on our own. They are coming from the electrical outlets and windows. We are going to move given the situation but are concerned about bringing the bugs with us to our next house. What would you recommend to treat our belongings? Would treating our belongings with Bithor reduce the possibility of taking the bugs with us to a new rental, assuming there isn’t already an issue with them? Or is there anything else we can do to treat our belongings?
Transporting pests from one location to another is legitimate concern. Pests like ROACHES, ANTS, CLOVER MITES, SPRINGTAILS, BOOKLICE and more will readily hide in boxes, clothing and appliances. When these items are moved from one location to another, these same pests are strong enough to relocate and once in the new home, will forage out and about setting up new nests.
To prevent bringing them with you to your new residence, we recommend a few treatment options.
First, all boxes should be lightly misted with either BITHOR or FLYING INSECT SPRAY. Bithor would be too messy applied as a liquid to boxes but our MINI MISTER will let you get them thoroughly treated and protected without ruining them.

We also STRONGLY recommend treating the new home with Bithor before moving in. This helps to insure there are no “surprises” and the treatment will help prevent successful relocation of pests you mistakenly carry with you during the move.
As for clothing; Flying Insect spray is labeled for such use and lightly treating any clothing or appliances would be a decent option if you don’t want to get the Bithor.

Lastly, any appliances you are moving, like a Microwave, should be treated as demonstrated in this video:
