Which product works best for ant nests in raised garden beds, and how should it be applied? I have several beds, all 4′ x4′, and they all have ants in them. Thank you!
There are a few ways to treat depending on what you intend on growing in the garden beds.
So if you’re planting something like flowers (anything inedible), spray the ground around the wood frame, the wood frame itself and then drench the soil in the bed using DOMINION 2L. Mix up and apply one gallon per bed. Dominion is slow acting so it will take 3-4 days to work but within a week, all ant activity will be gone.
Now if you intend on growing something edible like a fruit or vegetable, use DOMINION FRUIT AND VEGETABLE. Use it the same way and retreat once a week until they’re gone. Within 1-2 weeks, all ants nests will be dead.
Lastly, sprinkle MAXFORCE ANT GRANULES in the grass throughout the entire yard to kill other ant nests and activity. This will prevent new nests from forming in the beds.
