We just bought a home that was used as rental property. When we looked at the home, we noticed a terrible, strong, sweet odor. We had no idea the home was infested with cockroaches. We have pulled all the cabinets off the kitchen wall and found evidence- excrement, egg sacs, and dead roach bodies everywhere, including the refrigerator. I have vacuumed, washed with Dawn, sprayed with Clorox disinfectant, and steamed every cabinet and appliance. There is excrement and dead roaches in the switches and outlet boxes and the corresponding wires..We had to remove one door facing because of all the excrement and the odor was horrific in that wall. We plan to cut a hole in the wall near that door. ALthough our efforts have reduced the odor, they have certainly not removed it. The refrigerator now smells pretty good except for where the doors attach at the top to the main refrigerator. There is evidently a small amount of exposed insulation and it reeks after multiple applications of Clorox.
I have scoured the internet and found your website last night. Do you have experience with using Total odor eliminator to remove the cockroach odor? Based on what I have shared with you, please tell me if and how your product could be used to solve our odor problem.
Thank you so much for your assistance.

Diane,
TOTAL ODOR NEUTRALIZER will indeed do the job. Its amazing. Just add 4 oz to a gallon of water and either wipe, spray, sponge or fog it out over all surfaces in the home. This includes walls, countertops, inside cabinets, flooring, etc. TON is not hazardous and can be used anywhere – even on live plants out in the yard – and it won’t hurt them either.
In fact we have helped many people with this exact problem over the years and in all cases, its worked. And you may want to treat any attic, basement or crawl space too.
TON works by breaking down odor molecules. Once diffused, there will be no scent. And results will be pretty much instant, within the hour of being applied. If by chance you notice any part of the home with an odor 3 or more days later, treat that area again to ensure you got it all.
Use any good PUMP SPRAYER to make the application.
Now if the odor is all over walls, ceilings and basically found throughout the entire home, fogging (light misting) is by far the best approach.
Using our MINI MISTER, its easy to get walls and even your ceiling lightly misted.
The following “short video”, less than 60 seconds long, shows why the Mini Mister is ideal for this application.
Its easy to use distributes the product light enough to where you won’t over appy the T.O.N.
ROACH ODOR IN WALLS
Lastly, if the problem was in the walls, you’ll need to inject the T.O.N. using our SLAB INJECTOR.
Making small 1/2″ holes will be big enough for the injector to fit. The following short video (less than 60 seconds) shows how this device works when used to inject under cement. The same effect will work for wall voids.
The video above is more about treating under cement slabs but the slab injector works just as well for wall injections.

We have a very old home that has had a roach infestation in the past. I’m fairly sure that all the interior and exterior walls have significant amounts of waste in them which is the cause of a ‘smell’ the house has. Would this product work while there is still waste in the walls?
Tech Support says
Rachel,
Absolutely. Just be sure to use our Slab Injector and you’ll be able to deliver the T.O.N. where it matters and in turn, knock out the problem for good.
