These will definitely work to catch Sawtooths. I placed 2 in my tiny kitchen (my whole apartment is a measly 640 sq ft so this was adequate) after realizing I had a serious problem. Within a month, the trap caught 15 Sawtooths. After 3 months I discarded them because it seemed the attractant had dried out since I found no more new “victims.” I was hoping to catch other critters, but found it wasn’t so. Perhaps the traps don’t work as well in this aspect. Either that or I just do not have a problem with other insects which is likely since I don’t see other insects around my house at all (I regularly use Phantom spray).
Just like U-Spray says, these traps are ideal for being placed out in the open. I have pets and these worked perfectly. Probably wouldn’t be so well around children, since the traps do look like something a child would pick up considering the color and shape. The price is a little steep but if you have an infestation to the degree that Sawtooths are migrating to other rooms in the house, then it’s definitely worth it; there’s nothing quite so unnerving as seeing one of these nasty little beetles crawling on the arm of the couch.

Worked as advertised. I was skeptical because I could not quite figure out how it worked but the bugs found their way in and they did not leave. In combination with other measures it worked quite well thank you.

One of my favorite things! I used 2 of these traps to help eliminate saw tooth grain beetles in my bedroom wall that moved in after I stacked the chicken feed bags up along the outside. The inside trap helped alongside other measures, but outside trap alone filled right up to the top. I just kept dripping mineral oil in from time to time and it kept going!
