PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Insect trap used to catch ladybugs and stink bugs. These unwanted pests will drown in the “jar” once they enter. Our trap uses light and special pheromones to attract active ladybugs and stink bugs. The trap features a specially designed funnel top which “channels” the bugs as they attempt to land on the attractants. The blue plastic vanes up top are super slippery causing them to slide down into the holding tank filled with water where they’ll drown. Ladybugs and Stinkbugs are attracted by the special light bulb and the included pheromone lures.

Be sure to add 4-5 “drops” of liquid dish detergent to the holding tank water. And this tank only needs to have water added to about the 1/3 full line.
Also, consider getting some WALL AND CEILING SPRAY! This formulation is both odorless and water based so it won’t stain or leave a residue. Active LADYBUGS and STINKBUGS will target walls, windows and ceilings and lightly misting these areas will eliminate pest activity!
The dish detergent will cause bugs who land on the water to quickly fall under and drown as there will be no surface tension on the water to keep them suspended. The funnels also hold both ladybug and stink bug lures just below the special UV light. The special light bulb included will attract a wide range of nuisance bugs and though you should keep it on 24 hours a day, the light really works best at night when every other light source in the home is turned off.
The light is powered with the included AC power cord that plugs into any standard wall socket. Each trap can hold hundreds of bugs. WHERE TO USE IT: Mostly inside the home though it can be used in protected decks, patios and sun rooms.
RATE OF APPLICATION: One trap per room with activity; each trap will effectively attract ladybugs or stinkbugs for up to 1000 sq/ft of area but it must be open like a great room/kitchen. Two separate rooms closed off by doors will require two traps.
PHEROMONE LURE REPLACEMENT: There is one Stinkbug lure included in a semi pervious pouch will release small amount of odor over a 3 month time period. One lure is usually good enough to get you through one full season assuming you run the trap from fall through winter. Replace it the following the season.
Ladybug lures are good for 6-8 weeks so plan on changing them twice a season. We include 2 lures with your initial purchase since they only last half as long.

The Light Bulb should be set in the Light Bulb fixture and then “hung” from the top like this:
The Stinkbug Lure Pouch should be left inside the packet as explained on the outside direction set of the pack.
The Ladybug Lure needs to be partially split. The lure is rubber and once a small cut is made to the disc you can slide it over a blue vane. Try to make the split in the rubber while leaving the lure in the packet. This will avoid contaminating the lure with “human” scent or other odor that can be transmitted from your hands. We are “touching” the lure in the picture below for demonstration purposes only.
Next, slide the Ladybug Lure over the edge of a blue vane or in a small “cut out” section. The Stinkbug Lure should be hung from the top using the included tie wire.

The Asian lady bug problem has been severe this spring. I ordered the spray and the light. The light did attract some of the bugs. But the spray is what has killed them by the hundreds. After spraying around the windows twice within a one week period our lady bug infestation has virtually ended. Only a few each day now. Good stuff.

Works great! We have been using these traps for about a week targeting the Asian lady beetles. The traps were simple to set up. The traps in the darker rooms seem to be attracting more than those rooms with large windows. We are happy with the results and a nice alternative from using insecticide in our home.

If you own an RV and you have stink bugs in your area, these are a must. Without them my class A RV would be infested! They work better than advertised!!!

Not much. It includes an LED Black Light with just a 13 watt demand so it shouldn’t stress your power reserve. And remember, its best run at night when all other lights are off.

It works! So far, so good! We moved to a new farm & the day we moved in we were surrounded by the Asian ladybugs! It took me a while to find a trap & when I did I put it up in the winter after the infestation was mostly over, but after a week or so, there are ladybugs in the trap! I’m hoping it will catch wasps, too. The lady that recommended this product says hers did. So now I don’t dread the fall season & the Asian lady bugs! I think the price is a little expensive so I’m hoping it’ll prove to be worth the cost!

Awesome product! We had an infestation of Asian Lady Beetles in our RV. Not many products we found to treat these specifically were appealing to us. Did not want to use a “bomb” or a spray as these seemed too toxic to humans and/or messy cleanup. The light trap idea appealed to us and oh does it ever work well! The design is great and the product easy to use. I would suggest that the company mark the bait and ferrome tablets. The video on You Tube was most helpful. All in all, the trap is definitely worth the cost.

Asian Lady Bug catcher. So far, so good. Have caught a lot of them. I need to move the unit around but closing the shades helped capture more of them. Works as advertised. Probably will order a 2nd unit for first floor. Hate these pesky things!

Searched many times over the years looking for a trap for Asian beetles/ladybugs and elder bugs. Took a chance on this kit and wow, I wish I would have found it 15 years sooner! Have always had issues with them and vacuuming them was a full time job. If you’re contemplating what to use , do your self a favor and buy one ASAP. Maybe two.
We placed this in a small closet (with a sunny window that seemed to be the area they were the most) and left it on 24hrs a day for a few weeks and it’s caught dozens and dozens. We no longer see them in the attached bedroom and most that we see now are floating in the trap.
