I am planning on using this granular dormant weed “Killer” this month on a house which probably has not much more than a 1/4 of Myoporum and some Disney white ice plant. Which spreader can you recommend as the amount used is critical? Thanks.
In general, pre emergent herbicides like RONSTAR don’t pose an acute toxic impact to the surrounding turf when used within their labeled rates. With that being said, just keep your rate of application within 3 lbs per 1000 sq/ft and you should be fine.

Personally I have used it at multiple rates (2.5 to 4.5 lbs per 1000) and I can’t say I’ve noticed any kind of difference in performance no matter which rate I use. So to keep matters simple, I go with 3 lbs per 1000 and it does fine.
As for which kind of spreader to use? Most any will do fine. I know our hand held unit works for me:

But I’m certain any kind of push spreader with wheels will do the job too.
