cudzu beetle damage

My family and I live in Summerville, SC. This past week end,  March 10, 2012, is the first tine we have seen this particular beetle. We have been here for two years. My concern is what damage to our property can these beetles cause? Thank you for your he lp in this matter. Sincerely, Carol

CUDZU BEETLES will eat plants and can do at alarming rate once established. We’ve had reports of them consuming various plants including wisteria.
