I have over 100 Bonsai trees & assorted flowers & bushes . I have seen white flys recently. What product (S ) do you recommend to kill & prevent their damage should they return?
If you review our WHITEFLY CONTROL article, you’ll see a wide range of control measures listed which can all be employed. That being said, some Bonsai trees can be super sensitive to some of our products and for that reason, I would opt to use the Dominion if they were my trees.
Dominion can be sprayed directly on any of the trees, flowers or bushes if you see live activity right now. But it works best when used as a systemic since treatments can last 6-12 months and this is what I’d recommend for sure. It’s easy to do (just soil drench any tree you want to protect) and once the active makes it’s way into the tree, it will be protected from any insect pest.
