I have some kind of bee coming to our pool all day long and they’re stinging my family. Is there any way to stop them? We’re having a dry summer and I see them around the yard too but no nests. They just fly around all day long scaring and stinging us.
For any kind of insect using your pool for water like bees or wasps, you can stop them by using SKILLIT. This product is generally used to prevent algae by changing the water surface tension. Once lowered, insects that land on the water will effectively sink. Expect a few to die once you apply some but once they figure out what’s happening, they’ll learn to stay away and find their water requirements elsewhere.
Use 2 oz per 15,000 gallons of water and plan on renewing it every 1-2 weeks.
