Hi there, We have a carpet beetle infestation in our attic. I’ve been working with a pest control company to spray up there and it has been getting better but there is an area of the attic over our bedroom they can’t access due to the way the house is built. The beetles are coming out of the recessed lighting in the ceiling and landing in our bed and tub. I want to prevent them from coming out and would like something for this hidden space. What product do you recommend to treat in/around electrical areas/recessed lighting?
Go with our XEMPT DUST. It’s highly repellent to insects and they won’t walk or crawl through it. By puffing it into all these points of entry, you can stop them from entering.

As you probably realize, getting the attic dusted completely with Xempt would be the best overall solution so hopefully you can make an access point? If yes, you can dust that space with our DUSTIN MIZER to application easy.
Carpet beetles love attics and from there, will find their way into your living spaces as seen in this video:
It may require some extra effort to gain access to the entire space but in the long run, it will be well worth it.
Also, the dust is ideal for this area since its dry, odorless and so it won’t lead down below into your living space. Plus it lasts so much longer compared to any other option. Treatments will last at least a full year and probably up to 2 years if the space is mostly dry.
