Is your aerosol spray can leaking around the nozzle or the valve stem? It could be the straw isn’t fitted into the nozzle properly OR the nozzle needs to be “re-seated”.
This first short video shows how to re-seat the nozzle onto the valve stem of the can.
Now there are times when the straw is leaking. This is most likely if you tried to put the straw on the can without removing the nozzle. Its very difficult to mount the straw unless the nozzle is first removed as this next video demonstrates.
Now if you’ve firmly attached the straw to the nozzle while its off the can AND you’ve re-seated the nozzle but its still leaking? Remove the nozzle and then the straw from the nozzle.
Next, using a can of “compressed” air, “blow” clear the nozzle by puffing 1-2 seconds of air from the bottom side as seen in this picture.
If you still experience more than a “normal” amount of drip, remove the nozzle from the can and soak it by itself over night in warm water. Cans sitting over the winter or for more than 3 months can clog.
