which spray should i get? bithor or fs mp? I have beetles crawling around my kitchen. i think they’re coming from under the cabinets so its hard to spray under them.
So in this case, you’ll probably need both. Here’s why.
FS MP AEROSOL comes with a handy straw so you can inject it under the cabinets thus reaching any beetles that might be coming out.
FS MP will KILL ALL STAGES OF ANY INSECT!! This is a huge advantage and why its so helpful at solving problems. In fact a thorough application using FS MP where it matters can resolve most any insect issue with one treatment.
FS MP is oil based and ideal for CRACKS AND CREVICES.
This following video summarizes why its so good but also why you probably need the Bithor too.
So what about BITHOR and how does it compare?
Well a few things. First, its designed for surface spraying – not for cracks and crevices like FS MP.
Bithor is virtually odorless. Its water based compared to FS MP which is oil based.
For this reason, Bithor can be sprayed most anywhere and won’t stain or leave an odor.
So FS MP should be limited to cracks and crevices since it has an odor and can stain if over applied.
But for large scale applications – especially if you need to treat walls or ceilings, Bithor will be needed too.
The following short video summarizes why Bithor is well suited for surface spraying.
So as you can see in the video, Bithor is for SURFACE SPRAYING and more diverse BUT it will only kill on contact when first applied. After that, Bithor will typically take 2-3 days to kill anything active and moving.
Conversely, FS MP is for cracks and crevices, kills on contact and will last longer and repel indefinitely.
This is why both are generally needed and why they work “hand in hand”.
