Hello. I recently came across this worm like maggot in my bathtub while I was cleaning. Not sure where or how it got there. I then started searching the area for more and when I moved my daughters bath toys I found more. I threw the toys away! What are these? Where did they come from? How do I get rid of them? I dont wanna take a bath or shower anymore because of this.
There are many insects which can live in the drain lines of tubs, showers and sinks. My guess is you have drain flies because we’re seeing them active right now and they tend to focus on bathrooms. Fortunately controlling them is easy.
For immediate control,treating the location where the drain flies are reproducing is really the key to breaking the cycle.
And the best рrоduсts for this task is a combination of two.
First, NO SURVIVORS ENZ A BAC. Sіmрlу роur іt dоwn thе drain ріреѕ аnd Enz-A-Bac wіll rеmоvе thе nеѕt pockets nееded for hatching eggs to survive.
Treatments should be done in the evening so they can sit in the drain line overnight without using the sink. Do this once a week when problems arise.
Use 2-3 oz per sink drain and treat for at least 4 weeks in a row for initial cleanouts. After that, once every month or two.
To kill the active maggots living in the tub (Enz A Bac only works on their food, not the actual insect), you’ll need to apply LEMON AIR INSECTICIDE. Add 2 oz per gallon of water and pour 1/2 gallon down any sink drain suspected of harboring drain flies. Use Lemon Air on any night when you don’t use Enz-A-Bac. In general, most drain lines will need Lemon Air applied twice a week when insects are active and 2 weeks of treatments. After that, use it for prevention once a month.
Lemon Air will keep any sink fresh smelling too so great for tubs, bathrooms and even commercial kitchen drain lines.

If you look above you’ll see the two products you’ll need. Get both and start treating by first spraying the Cykick down the drain the first night and the second night, use the Survivors. The third night, spray again with Cykick. After that, plan on spraying the Cykick once every 2-3 days so you’re spraying it at least 3 times a week. Using the Survivors once a week and the Cykick at least twice a week should get the issue under control within a couple of weeks.
