PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Odorless concentrate used to neutralize the worse of odors you may have in the home including bat guano, feces, urine, cat sprays, skunk odor, dead body smell, smoke odor from a fire, insect pheromones and more. You can also add it to your chemical tank mix to eliminate noxious chemical fumes.
The following “short video” (less than 60 seconds long) summarizes how T.O.N. works and where you can use it.

Works great at removing all insect and animal scent/pheromone trails so they can no longer “smell” your house or their trails that lead them inside. Removing these scents are CRITICAL for solving ongoing pest problems like invading STINKBUGS, LADYBUGS, RATS, MICE, VOLES and more.
WHERE TO USE IT: For reducing the odor of chemical tank mixes, add 1 oz to your mix in a pump sprayer, back pack, spray bottle or power sprayer. The 1 oz vials are perfectly suited for this need.
For animal related odors, you’ll need 4-6 oz per gallon and should expect to get 500-750 sq/ft of coverage for use in attics, wall voids, floors, carpets, furniture, baseboards, countertops, around windows, house siding, foundations, cement and even on plants. T.O.N. won’t hurt plants so it can be safely applied around the home on the ground where trailing animals like to leave their mark.
When used in our MINI MISTER or BUGSPRAY FOGGER, you’ll be able to use less product and get better coverage. The Bugspray Fogger is the perfect tool for applying T.O.N. to attics or crawl spaces so you don’t have to move about too much in the space. This can be extremely helpful if you have limited access or if either is “too” messy for comfort.
For wall voids, the POWER INJECTOR can be used to treat hidden spaces where small animals have died.
For dogs covered in skunk smell, mix 2-3 oz per 64 oz of water and use the mixture to safely bathe them. T.O.N. is safe enough to spray a live flower and will take away the smell of the plant but not injure it.
For sensitive areas “in the home”, the Mini Mister or the Power Injector with the Misting Nozzle will let you treat carpets, furniture, walls and ceilings without making a mess.
For insects smells left by pests like stinkbugs, ladybugs, roaches, crickets, meal moths and more, 4 oz per gallon per 800 sq/ft can be sprayed, wiped or mopped over the surfaces where activity is most noted. For animal odors from dead bodies, feces or urine, use 4 oz per gallon per 500 sq/ft.
MIXTURE RATE: Add 1 oz per gallon when mixing with insecticide solution to eliminate chemical smells.

Will you please advise if there are any concerns with human contact or pet contact with this product?
Tech Support says
Alan,
.
No concerns. In fact this product can be used on dogs to neutralize strong odor like skunks or dead animals if they were to “roll” on anything afield. Its so safe once mixed, you can spray plants and not harm them. In the home, carpets, even clothing with foul odors can safely be treated.

Bat guano odor! Although the product has no smell of its own, it seems to eradicate the guano odor.

I have a legitimate question/concern. Why has it been deleted?

Art,
Art,
Can you check your spam folder for our response? We answer every question whether you email, text or post and our tech department handled this about a day ago. That said, we do not allow many online post discussions to continue because we need more information to help solve sensitive issues. In the past, we’ve had many customers request to keep their answers private and some even requested that we remove answers and only send responses directly via email or text. Since your email involves a complicated answer that will require more information, it fell into the category of needing to go private and so we sent our response by email.
Now if you cannot find our response, please email order@bugspray.com and we will respond directly. We typically have issues with both Gmail and Yahoo mail filtering our messages to spam folders but your email provider, in general, hasn’t been a problem. That said, we did respond and have a copy of the sent message we can resend once we get an email from you. Our hope is that once you email us, our email will be “white listed” with your provider so that we can communicate via email moving forward.

Yesenia G. says
Good afternoon,
Seeking guidance. I have a 41 unit building with an incessant rat infestation “within” the walls. We injected the walls in 5 units with pesticides but now there’s a putrid smell of dead carcass.
Two Qs:
1. What is the recommended mix ratio for T.O.N. and pesticide in order to treat the entire building by injecting these 5 units.
2. How often are treatments recommended for a 41-unit building?
Thank you
Tech Support says
Yesenia,
It’s unfortunate what has happened but if you review any of our online articles about rodent control, you will we advise against using rodenticide because rodents will almost certainly die in wall voids, attics or other hard to access locations.
That said, T.O.N. will certainly eliminate the odor but given all the possible places they could be hiding, it will be a challenge. The bottom line is simple. If you get enough T.O.N. onto any dead carcass, there will be no odor.
Now onto your questions.
1) The mixture rates are on our product page here: https://bugspray.com/sanitizer/liquid/total-odor-neutralizer
As you will see, we recommend 4 oz per gallon of water per 500 sq/ftt.
2) As for how often you will need to treat? Enough to defeat the odor. So lets say the dead rodent is in an attic and you can remove it. Just one treatment will end the smell.
But if the odor is coming from hidden spaces like wall voids, it could require multiple treatments until you saturate the dead animal enough to defeat any further odor’s from being created.
On a side note, you may want to consider using our Power Injector. It’s used for injecting wall voids and is well suited for odor control. Plus it has misting nozzles so you can treat walls, floors and even ceilings. You can learn more about it here:
