Flat Line soft bait is sectioned in 1 oz pieces so you get about 64 pieces. Flat Line provides maximum rodent acceptance in a soft, easy to chew bait block rodenticide.
Place Flat Line blocks on vertical or horizontal rods in tamper proof bait stations like our BLACK RAT BAIT STATIONS.
Place BootHill paraffin blocks between the rodents nest and/or feed and water supply.
Maintain a consistent supply of Flat Line blocks until rodent feeding stops.
TARGET PESTS: Rats and Mice
WHERE TO USE IT: Should be used inside of Tamper Proof Rodent Bait Stations. Place stations in areas where rodents frequent.
RATE OF APPLICATION: For rats place one station every 25 feet along foundation walls, fences or similar barrier.

I am using the 2 sided rat station with bait blocks on both sides to fight a chipmunk infestation. After two days I checked the trap and there were two slugs inside and no indication of the blocks being chewed on. Seems I remember reading that the rodents won’t eat bait when slugs are in the trap. How might I keep the slugs out? Thank you.

If you visit our Slug Control article, you will see we have traps, bait, dust and a spray. The spray will actually work on chipmunks too so I would not recommend using it since once its applied, I’m certain the chipmunks would avoid the bait station and that whole area.

So for us, the good treatment options would be either the bait, traps or dust. The dust is highly effective and if you apply it over an area say 10 feet by 10 feet surrounding the station, you’d be killing off any slugs and keeping them from reaching the station.

Personally I have been using our stations that hold both bait and traps and getting good results for my chipmunk issue. On one side I have the bait and on the other side, I have a snap trap. Thank you. Do you recommend the High Yield bait, in this case, as well? I don’t own a duster and trying to economize when possible. I’ll order the snap trap for certain.

The Dust comes in a plastic jug you can “squeeze” which really only works when doing outside applications so you wouldn’t need the applicator. And it works infinitely better than the bait since there is no guarantee they’ll eat the bait. Using both would be ideal.

The traps work well for sure and always are a help year round.
