PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Clear rigid plastic square measuring 4.25″ wide by 3.25″ long and less than 1/2″ tall. These traps work on silverfish, booklice, springtails, psocids, carpet beetle larvae, scorpions, ants and other insect pests.
Each trap features clear glue which is moist. This moisture will attract common pests who enter and get stuck. Once in the trap, their decomposing bodies will lure a wider range of nuisance insects.
Place traps on bookshelves, in pantries, closets, along baseboards and basically anywhere target pests have been seen.
WHERE TO USE IT: Safe for use throughout the home in bedrooms, closets, pantries, under furniture cushions, around rugs suspected of having active insects and under beds. Effective in crawl spaces, attics and garages too.
CAN BE USED OUTSIDE! Our plastic design allows for use outside in damp, moist environments. Use them in shady areas, out of direct sunlight and rain, for maximum longevity. Place along walls, under appliances and chairs where pests are thought to be active.

HOW TO USE IT: Simply fold the trap together if its not already and place alongside baseboards, on countertops, on windowsills and basically anywhere insect activity is seen.

RATE OF APPLICATION: 3-4 traps per room with activity. Out in open areas, each trap will effectively attract pests from up to 10 feet (5 feet in each direction). In a pantry or cabinet, this range will be limited due to the other smells so use more when making hidden or sealed placements.
** Traps used where target pests have adequate food and moisture will not get significant attention. **
The glue will remain active for up to 6 months but traps should be replaced every 3 months when pests are active. Be sure to replace filled traps sooner.

These Traps Actually Work! Springtails have been really bad this year for some reason. Have never seen anything like it. Was having trouble controlling them so bought these traps as part of a recommended process to reduce their numbers. I was skeptical these would work but have to say that they really do work and trapped a large number of springtails that otherwise would be crawling around. I’ve purchased these twice now and if the problem is bad again next year will get more earlier in the spring. Think these work well in conjunction with other outdoor and indoor control methods like spraying, granules and dusting.

Keep these on hand! Love these little packets of sticky solution. Booklice seems to visit me in cooler damp months. I place these in window sills and behind the toilet and under sinks. They need to be replaced about every four months in my experience. Last few weeks I’ve had a steady stream of ants climbing up my window in the kitchen. Between the Double Jeopardy sticky boards and glue traps, the ants have gone. No toxic sprays used.

Are the pest attractant tablets safe to use in a home with dogs and cats? What are the active ingredients?

The bait pellets use nothing but a mix of pet food so yes, its safe for use around any pet. In fact pet food is highly nutritious and why certain “flavors” are especially attractive to certain pests. In this case, our “secret” mix of well known pet food flavors/pellets/meal has proven to be very attractive to this pest. Using some in every trap will “enhance” trap performance but if preferred, you can use the traps without the bait and still catch target pests since they will be drawn to the internal moisture of the glue.
