TRAP DESCRIPTION: 10″ x 12″ x 48″ Double door trap, features two spring-loaded, automatic locking V-doors, that make trapping even the quickest and most cautious animals easy. This trap comes equipped with adjustable trigger release mechanisms for light or heavy sets. There are no wires or doors to obstruct the animals view, so even the most suspicious animal will enter the trap with confidence. Plus, animals can enter from either end of a double door trap, which may ultimately double your chances of catching an animal. When an animal triggers the trip pan located in the middle of the trap, both spring loaded, V-doors simultaneously spring shut, lock into place, and trap the animal safely and securely inside. Another nice feature of double door live traps is that the traps can be set as single door sets.
WHERE TO USE IT: Try to place the trap against a building or fence line, and place a 2 inch by 6 inch board, at one end of the trap and angle it away from the trap’s entrance. Do the same thing to the other end of the trap, making sure to angle the 2 inch by 6 inch board away from the trap’s entrance. The animals will follow the boards right into the trap. Be careful not to block the trap doors from closing with the boards.
RATE OF APPLICATION: One or more. This would depend on the number of placement areas, the number of animals to be trapped, and the speed in which you want to remove the animals. The more you use, the quicker the process will go.
