If you order from us, be prepared to have your items arrive in a way you’ve never seen before. We take a lot of time to prepare every can and container so it stands the best chance of reaching you without leaks.
To accomplish that goal, we do several things no other company does.
First, we tediously wrap every cap with heavy plumbers tape. This soft, pliable yet strong tape is meant to the keep the cap in place. Secure caps should keep all liquids, dust and aerosols inside their cans or jugs and so they serve a primary and fundamental purpose: keep the chemical in the container when its being shipped.
Second, we place virtually every item we ship in a heavy 4-6 mil plastic zip lock bag. These bags will add another layer of protection to your items so that even in a worse case scenario, the extra protection can help contain a leaking jug.
Third, we use boxes rated for 2-3 times the weight we ship. These extra heavy boxes are your front line of defense against the carriers who handle, toss, layer, stack, move, carry, transport, bang, drop, slam and sometimes even “throw” your box! That said, these stronger boxes can take the abuse so ultimately, everything will usually end up at your front door. Weak boxes will lead to direct product abuse, lost items and leaks. True, the boxes we use may be “over kill” for what they deliver but this extra investment helps to insure the products you order will arrive without damage or messy cleanups.
This following short video shows some of the steps we take to get your items prepared before shipment.

Now for 3-6 months in every year, we do get very busy and this can lead to product shortages or shipping delays. So instead of our normal 1 day turn around, it may take 2-4 days during the months of May-June-July-August. And since we do not offer “overnight” or any other expedited freight option, we due offer an “expedited handling” option. This is available for any order and essentially it’s a processing fee that moves your order to “front of the line”.
So if you order on Sunday evening and we have 200-300 orders to pack/ship on Monday, your order will be processed immediately. This fee varies throughout the year in a way that is similar to the “toll” available for commuters that allows them to use a designated lane on major expressways. During our busy season, this fee will be high; in the off season, it will be nominal. Use the button below to “add” this service to your order so we can ship the same day you order (for orders placed before 3 PM Eastern Standard Time).
Lastly, we ship from Atlanta, Georgia. To see the “expected” travel/arrival times to various parts of the country, please review the comment below.

How long does it take for you to ship once I order and also, how long is travel shipping time?
Tech Support says
Tim,
We generally ship every order within one business day. So if you order on a Monday evening? We’d ship Tuesday morning. The cutoff for orders to go the same day is 9 AM since the carriers typically pick up from us around 10-11 AM. Now there will be some delay if you order over the weekend but we don’t count Saturday or Sunday as a business day.
As for the days in transit? That’s a tough one to answer with 100% accuracy but here are the averages we have seen over many years.
Since we’re just outside Atlanta in GA, anyone in GA or neighboring states can often get product delivered in 1 day. This is especially true if you pick FedEx for shipping. They are very reliable and often deliver sooner than expected. The Post Office on the other hand can take 1-3 days just to show tracking. They are reliable BUT prone to delays based on seasonal issues such as a big surge in shipments or employee shortages. The good news is that we’ve not had one lost box through the post office for nearly two years now; FedEx has damaged only one box. This indicates that we pack our items very safe as you’ll see AND that we label them well so they don’t get lost.
Now if you’re not in GA or a neighboring state but still in the southeast? 1-2 business days.
If you’re in the northeast? Around 2 days. There will be some remote areas that take an extra day to arrive.
Southwest or middle of the country up to the Canadian border? Same; 2 days on average and maybe 3 if you’re more remote.
Left coast or northwest tend to take the longest to arrive. If you’re close to a major city, like Seattle or Portland, 3-4 days. If you’re in the country, 4-5 days. So 4-5 business days would be the longest that we see once we ship.
