Hello, I work at a Water Treatment Plant and we have a few buildings that during the summer time there are a lot of Barn spiders. I would like to know what I can use to kill them that is safe to spray around water. The water we treat is for drinking. Thank you for your help.
No doubt the best option would be the federally XEMPT EC. It’s made with food grade essential oils and labeled for use around ponds, lakes, rivers and other waterways for controlling a wide range of pests including spiders. Considered to be a minimal risk type product, its a good choice for sensitive areas like you need to treat.
Now if you review the label, you’ll learn it can be sprayed using a standard pump sprayer. But you can also use a fogging machine to apply it so if you have a large area to treat, using a misting machine like our BUGSPRAY FOGGER would be a easy and effective way to get broad coverage without making a mess.
