I have ground squirrels and rabbits coming into my back yard. Its not big, just 1/4 acre but I don’t want them moving in. There is lots of wild areas around my yard so I know they’re around but I’m hopeful one of your repellents will keep them away. Sometimes they chew my grass which I don’t mind but I don’t want ground nests. So which is the best? The granules or spray? And I would like to use a repeller too but it looks like you have two kinds so is one better than the other?
The four repellents you mentioned are all very effective but there isn’t one that’s the “best”. Here’s why.
Each has advantages over the others and so the one that will be best for your situation will be based more on what you’re trying to accomplish.
In general, the PEST AWAY SPRAY is best for protecting a small, specific area like a plant animals might like eat or maybe the side of the house where some pest likes to rest. But for open areas like a lawn, not as effective as the PEST XEMPT GRANULES.
The Granules can be spread out over larger areas and will last twice as long so for your needs, the granules could be considered as a good option. But if the area you want to protect is 2500 sq/ft or more? Then the either of the Repellers would be best. This is because they can cover large areas AND they do not need to renewed. Just set them out and forget them. They’ll last for years whereas the spray or granules will need to be applied over and over.
Now which of the two repellers would best? That depends on what you’re more concerned about.
