HOW TO STOP PINE BARK BEETLES
We have two preventive treatments to keep your PINE TREES safe. Pine trees are super sensitive to PINE BARK BEETLES. To prevent them from living on your pines, either spray them or repel them.
BEST PINE TREE SPRAY TO STOP PINE BARK BORERS
This video gives you the “quick” summary (in less than 60 seconds).
To prevent or cure a PINE BEETLE INFESTATION, spray your pine trees using our MAXXTHOR at the rate of 1 oz per gallon when using a PUMP SPRAYER or HOSE END SPRAYER.
PINE BARK BEETLE REPELLENT
To stop PINE BARK BEETLES from ever infesting your pines, attach our PINE BARK BEETLE REPELLENT POUCHES on the trunk anywhere from 6-12 feet off the ground.
The following short video (less than 60 seconds) shows how to use them.
These pouches will remain active for 90-120 days and should be replaced once or twice a year depending on whether you reside in the northern or southern tier of the United States.
PINE BARK BEETLE INJECTION TREATMENT
For direct treatment of their holes and behind loose bark, use our FS MP AEROSOL.
The following video shows how to use it on trees.
Its straw will let you reach places the spray won’t so you can immediately kill off lots of the active beetles.
