PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: The Blackhawk Thermal Fogger is truck mountable, thermal (HOT) fogger which uses an electric start gas powered “pulse jet” engine for power. This motor is quite powerful packing 44 HP which can pump up to 18 gallons an hour. There is a “remote control” switch used to activate flow from your drivers seat so you can turn the mist on/off as you drive. The electric start can be powered by D cell batteries (8 batteries needed) or any onboard 12 volt starter battery found on most any vehicle.

The Blackhawk formulation tank can hold 3 gallons of any oil based mixture (you must use a DEOBASE formulation for this model – water only model available by special order) and the gas tank can hold up to 64 oz. Fuel consumption will average just over a tank per hour (about .6 gallons per hour); the fuel tank holds .5 gallons of gas.
Built around a high strength, welded steel frame, this unit weighs 41 lbs (with empty tanks).

TECHNICAL SPECS: The droplet size in the fog will range from .5-50 microns; output is 114,000 cubic feet a minute. Flow rate is 3.33 minutes per gallon; it will take about 10 minutes to empty the 3 gallon formulation tank. Coverage of the formulation will vary depending on landscape, vegetation density, air quality, etc. On average, one should expect to use anywhere from 1/4 gallon to 1/2 gallon of mixed product per acre; treatment time should be in the 1-3 minute range per acre depending on mode of transportation, vegetation density, etc.
