PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: The FlyWeb Insect light is designed for indoor use wherever there are flying pests. The FlyWeb trap attracts flying insects by using an energy-efficient 9-watt U.V. light bulb. Flying insects are drawn to the U.V. light and trapped on the web-like adhesive glue card. Its compact size makes it perfect to hide while it still does the job of ridding your space of flying pests. Remove the protective coating on the adhesive board, insert the glue pad into the unit and the trap is set and ready to work. All you need is an electrical outlet to plug it in and you’ll be catching flying pests immediately.

Will the FlyWeb Insect Light work for fruit flies as well? I noticed the light is not featured on your website’s page for fruit fly control, so I’m curious.
In the summer I tend to get both fruit flies and phorids in the house, and I’d like a trap that does double-duty. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for asking; it will definitely attract and catch fruit flies. In fact I use one in our kitchen every spring/summer/fall and it collects so many flying pests I don’t know what I’d do without it! My main problem is fungus flies, phorid and fruit flies but it does catch quite a few mosquitoes and flies as well.

Plugged it in and less than five minutes later had 4 gnats stuck to it. By morning there were a couple dozen. If you order one, get the extra pads too they fill up fast!

I just set my trap out and it caught over 50 fungus flies overnight! I tried to send a picture but can’t figure out how.

These flying insect traps work very well. They draw the insects in for sure but you also need to address the source or you’ll go through the pads really fast.

Buy the Fly Trap! The fly trap is big, but it works. It’s an excellent treatment for immediate elimination of gnats, etc. I used store bought foggers and still saw a few gnats and my house is super clean. Bugspray.com is my go to store!

It works! This fly trap is amazing. It works; I purchased it for family members too. The light attracts the gnats. I haven’t seen a gnat once since having this trap. It didn’t survive the trap. Order extra glue pads and bulbs. The bulb last a while, but you will need a new one.
