If you suspect a small animal is active in or around your home, view this first video. It explains what you should do first. DO NOT SEAL HOLES OR REMOVE ANY FOOD you find them visiting. These locations can be used to “trap” them but first, you need to “prebait” the area as explained in this first video.
RODENT CONTROL VIDEO 1 ^
Once you get the active animal to accept your “pre-trap bait” offering, view our PART 2 VIDEO which highlights trap options. We carry both live and kill traps all of which are detailed in this video:
RODENT CONTROL VIDEO 2 ^
As explained in our video, this is overall the “best” option for most people, out LT3310 TRAP.
If you know or suspect the animal could too large for this trap, use our GREEN 5X5X16 LIVE TRAP.
If you prefer a “kill trap”, this COVERED TUNNEL TRAP is well suited for most all animals and can even handle most squirrels.
Lastly, once you trap out active animals and have gone at least 2 WEEKS without finding new droppings, seeing or hearing activity, you can safely assume your invading animal has either left or has been removed. You can now proceed to VIDEO 3 and learn how to both “descent” and install our SOUND REPELLERS for permanent control.

TOTAL ODOR NEUTRALIZER is the “descenting” agent needed to remove all pheromones and trailing odors small rodents leave on and around buildings so they can “find their way home”. Remove these odors and scent trails and your home and yard won’t be “found” by new animals after you remove the active population.
Our SOUND REPELLERS can be set up in attics, crawl spaces, around the home and anywhere active animals have been trapped or seen. They feature a range of settings and can use either their included power supply for continuous operation or “C” cell batteries for remote location where power is not available.
Our GROUND STAKE SOLAR POWERED REPELLER is designed for use outside, in the ground and for tunnel dwelling rodents like voles, shrews and chipmunks. They work on a wide range of other animals too including snakes. For this series of videos which focuses on small rodents in or around the home, you might wonder why using this would be helpful. Well if you’re getting rats, voles or mice coming inside, there is a good chance you have some nesting and/or tunneling around your home. Do a thorough inspection around the house to see if any tunnels exist. If they do, gas them first with our GAS STICKS and then install our Repellers for a permanent solution.
TRAPPING FLYING SQUIRRELS USING PREBAITING ROUTINE SUCCESS ^
Check out this video to see the result of using our “prebaiting” routine described in video one. It shows the end result of catching a FLYING SQUIRREL in one of our live cages.
And a few days later, a second flying squirrel was caught at the same location!
