CARPENTER BEE KIT 1  (cannot ship to CA, CT or NY)

This kit is good for treating small carpenter bee problems and includes enough dust to treat up to 10 holes. It comes with a pump sprayer that can reach 10-15 feet, 1 oz of Cypermethrin, 4 oz of silica gel dust and 10 corks.

The silica gel dust is packed in a small container you can use to dust the nest (no extra hand duster needed). After dusting, cap the nest using one of the included 1/2″ corks.

Next, mix up the 1 oz of cypermethrin  in the gallon sprayer and spray the exposed wood carpenter bees are targeting. This will prevent new holes from being drilled. If you have a small area to spray, only mix what you intend on using right away. Since 1 gallon of mixed spray can treat up to 800 sq/ft, only use 1/4 oz in 32 oz of water to treat 200 sq/ft.

Basically this is the same exact kit as the other carpenter bee kit 1 with the only difference being that this kit contains a different concentrate which can be shipped to any state. Use this insecticide exactly the same way you would use the cypermethrin; 1 oz per gallon of water to treat up to 800 sq/ft of surface area.

CARPENTER BEE KIT 2  (cannot ship to CA, CT or NY)

This kit is good for treating medium sized carpenter bee problems and includes enough dust to treat up to 25 holes. It comes with a pump sprayer that can reach 10-15 feet, 4 oz of Cypermethrin, 6 oz of Drione silica gel dust and 25 corks. The Drione Dust Silica Gel dust includes pyrethrin and a synergist. For this reason smaller amounts can be used per nest so compared to the “plain” silica gel (with no pyrethrin or synergist) included with kit 1, the coverage with Drione dust is significantly more which is why you can treat up to 25 nests with this kit.

Closely related to cypermethrin, permethrin is a good substitute and though not as long lasting compared to cypermethrin, using it at 4 oz per gallon will yield similar residual action.

This kit is good for treating 50-100 holes no problem. Included is our own private label heavy duty pump sprayer that can spray 15-20 feet. Also included is a 1 lb jar of Drione Silica Gel dust,  a hand duster for applying the dust, 100 corks, 16 oz of cypermethrin and a dial-a-mix hose end sprayer.

Put together for customers who have bad carpenter bee problems, this kit includes everything you’ll need to tackle most any situation. The included hand duster makes dusting holes much easier compared to using the jug dusting nozzle. The 16 oz of cypermethrin is enough to make 16 gallons of mixed spray which is enough to treat most homes several times when using it at the rate of 1 oz per gallon of water.

Similar to cypermethrin, deltamethrin is a good substitute and though not as strong of a repellent compared to cypermethrin, it will do the same job of protecting treated surfaces. It just takes the bees a bit longer to realize they don’t want to be where  you spray.

So like the other carpenter bee kit 3, this one is good for treating 50-100 holes no problem. Included is our own private label heavy duty pump sprayer that can spray 15-20 feet.
